 Megan Fox is an American actress who was born on May 16, 1986 in Rockwood, Tennessee. She grew up in a strict household maintained by her mother and stepfather. She started her acting career in 2001 with several small television roles. Her movie career begun in 2004 with Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen where she appeared together with Lindsay Lohan. Later followed some very successful movies like Transformers in 2007, or her horror comedy Jennifer's Body in 2009. Megan Fox is stunning on the cover of Marie Claire UK‘s March 2013 issue, on newsstands this Thursday (January 31).
Here’s what the 26-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On being fulfilled with mothering her son Noah: “I’ve never been validated by work or fame or Hollywood or any of that. I recognize the blessings when they come – like, I recognize I’m so lucky to work with Judd [Apatow] – but the ultimate satisfaction for me is being with my son. All I wanted to do my whole, whole life was have a baby and, now, I’ve finally done it. I just want to give Noah as much of myself as I can. And I want to have more kids. That is where my heart is.”
On her husband Brian Austin Green: “I just think we got lucky. I believe he’s my soulmate. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t take work, because we are very, very different. But we are tolerant of each other and we try to be patient with each other, and I don’t try to turn him into me and he knows not to try to turn me into him. He really is amazing. I should never, ever even think about complaining.”
On cooking: “I can cook, but I also want everything to look beautiful on the plate – then I get upset when people eat it. Everyone just tears through it and that makes me sad. It’s not a rewarding experience for me to cook.”

Here’s what the 26-year-old actress had to share with the mag:
On removing her Marilyn Monroe tattoo – and it’s relation to Lindsay Lohan: “I started reading about her and realized that her life was incredibly difficult. It’s like when you visualize something for your future. I didn’t want to visualize something so negative….She was sort of like Lindsay. She was an actress who wasn’t reliable, who almost wasn’t insurable….She had all of the potential in the world, and it was squandered. I’m not interested in following in those footsteps.”
On the negative aspects of fame: “I don’t think people understand. They all think we should shut the f*ck up and stop complaining because you live in a big house or you drive a Bentley. So your life must be so great. What people don’t realize is that fame, whatever your worst experience in high school, when you were being bullied by those ten kids in high school, fame is that, but on a global scale, where you’re being bullied by millions of people constantly.”
On staying in control and looking to the church for answers: “I can’t stand pills. I don’t like drinking. I don’t like feeling out of control. I have to feel like I’m in control of my body. And I know what you’re thinking, Then why would I want to go to church and speak in tongues? You have to understand, there I feel safe. I was raised to believe that you’re safe in God’s hands. But I don’t feel safe with myself.”
